No complains at all, we spent a such wonderful time here. This place was cute and the staff was accommodating and extremely great! The hotel's position was great walk from bars and restaurants. There was a good choice of cafes and bars nearby to try.

Great water pressure in the shower.
The parking was an absolute nightmare, costing 25 Euros, and the garage was ridiculously tight. The room itself was a miserable experience, smelling of mold, with uncomfortable beds that left us sore the next day. To top it off, when we sought help from the rude receptionist, it was clear he couldn't care less about our discomfort or language barrier.

Hotel is simple, with satisfactory breakfast, and location is marvellous really close to restaurants, metro, buses and an informational centre for tourists and supermarket and main square of Porto center and main metro stations. The property provides a good service. Furthermore, private parking is available onsite, nonetheless the fee is usd 27 per day...

Friendly staff, great location, true value. Breakfast well worth the 3,50€. The garage is right in the cellar. Best of all this was the one of the few available to accommodate a 2+3 family in reasonable rate.
The building is old, could benefit of some paint and fixing here and there - as all of Porto city :-). The rooms are not too big. Most of Porto speaks English well, but here you need some positive attitude on your side. However, there were no unresolved issues except WiFi. They do have a wireless internet but they key provided did not work ever with my device.

Room was stuffy and air con didn't work properly. We asked for a twin bedded room but got a small double bed and a midget child sized bed, mattresses on both were appalling so we had three very bad night's sleep. Pillows were old and lumpy.

The hotel Porto Rico is situated in the main centre of Porto. The room was small but has an air conditioning, small old tv with one programme in English, wardrobe, comfortable bad, small balcony and the bathroom. The room was cleaning the room every day, towels were changed daily. Wi-Fi is anvilable, but only at the corridor or in the living room. The staff speak English little bit. Generally,it was good choice for this price.

i liked the location, also mnany other hotels around,
i had to make roomates happy, ants, all over the place, i do not pay for ants, managem, ent was greedy for money, told me i had to pay cash, chnaging my money to euros, 9 euros to chnage, i did not, they said their machine was broken, but when i demanded, machine was miracle fixed, maid was awesome, ants were in my water, had to buzz in to hotel and buzz out, they always knew you were in and out, is this necessary? next time, no,,,,,,

I was staying at the hotel for a week, at first as a single, then when other friends joined we had a triple. All up there was 9 of us staying during the Primavera festival. Although we were returning at unsociable hours after the festival the staff were always friendly and very patient with our minimal levels of Portuguese. The rooms were a little worn but always very clean and the showers (though small) always had hot water and good pressure! We never had breakfast there but there is a great cafe opposite for esspresso and a little supermatket 5 min away for pastry and fruit. It is just around the corner from aliados sq, close to several metro stops inc Trinidad and about 15 min walk to ribeira.
The toilets are really noisey and the walls are pretty thin. Its a little shabby but frankly for the money these are pretty minor issues!

The location is excellent, close to key attractions and great restaurants. The room felt cramped, not much space to move around. Parking is pricey too, 25 Euros. Nice water pressure in the shower after a long day.

The location was perfect and the hotel is good, it's not luxury but it was clean and perfect for sightseeing in Porto. We can walk everywhere and it's just beside the metro to go to the airport. You can also have a bath Or a balcony. Really good for the price!

I loved digging into the vibrant local eats at nearby restaurants like Hamburgueria DeGema, serving juicy burgers just a hop away! The bustling energy of the city was infectious, and the location was spot on for exploring Porto's charm. Even the shower had great water pressure.
But let's get real-25 Euros for parking? That's steep! The room felt tighter than most, with barely enough space to squeeze past the bed. And the constant clamor from the streets? Not ideal when you're trying to unwind. I'd say the whole experience flopped compared to other hotels for just a bit more cash.

The staff's kindness, the cleanliness and the fact that it was cheap for the location and it included a private bathroom!
Everything was to my standards!
